EVaP team members will attend the 2022 APSA annual meeting and exhibition in Montréal Québec, Canada. The PI-Ursula Daxecker and Post-doc-Neeraj Prasad will present their co-authored papers “Voting for violence: Examining support for party violence in Uttar Pradesh, India”, and “Poisoning your own well: Misinformation, preferences, and polarization in India”. While Ph.D. candidates Noyonika Das and Maureen Fubara will present their respective papers “Violence in local elections: Evidence from West Bengal, India” and “The spoils of office and repertoires of election violence in Nigeria” at the APSA Dissertation workshop on Political Violence (Comparative Politics).
