Inaugural lecture: Democracy and Political Violence – Can Democracy Solve the Problem of Political Violence?

EVaP Principal Investigator, Ursula Daxecker,  has been promoted to full professor. Professor Daxecker presented a lecture titled “Democracy and Political Violence – Can Democracy Solve the Problem of Political Violence?” In her inaugural lecture, Prof. Dr. Ursula Daxecker explores why some forms of political violence persist and what we can do to prevent violent and extreme tendencies in democracies.
